Maintenance of hydraulic excavators

Schools with rich excavator maintenance experience indicate that hydraulic equipment generally has a high failure rate due to design, manufacturing, transportation, installation, commissioning, etc. at the beginning of use. As the running time is extended and the falling is continuously eliminated, the fault string will be Gradually decreases. In the later stage of equipment use, the faults are gradually increased due to wear, corrosion, aging fatigue, etc. during long-term use. Only in the middle of use, equipment failures tend to be random and stable, which is the effective working life of the equipment. However, if it is used improperly or is not diagnosed and eliminated in time, even in the effective life period, sudden and serious failures cannot be ruled out. Therefore, careful study and summary of various equipment failures and diagnostic techniques, this is the prerequisite for correct and timely elimination of various faults.

Hydraulic excavators often need to maintain the equipment after working in some special occasions. Let's take a look at what to do after working in cold areas and dust areas.

1. Maintenance measures for hydraulic excavators after working in cold areas should pay attention to the following two points in addition to normal maintenance operations:

(1) Prevent the freezing of the walking parts. After the work is finished, clean the mud that has dried up on the car body and park the machinery on concrete or wooden boards or on a solid and dry floor.

(2) Anti-freeze of the magic piston rod. After the operation, the piston rod of the hydraulic cylinder should be retracted to the maximum extent. If the piston rod is exposed, the surface of the rod may freeze due to condensation of moisture in the air, or the seal of the adhered soil may cause damage to the end cap seal.

2. The maintenance measures of the hydraulic excavator after working in a dusty place have the following points:

(1) Clean the air filter after the end of the operation;

(2) Remove dust accumulated on the heating device and oil cooler;

(3) Always check the oil and regularly use a hydraulic oil filter to treat the oil. Prevent dust from entering the working oil and fuel;

(4) Wash the car in time after the operation, and do not let the contaminated dust become dirt.
